The YoungMins Annual Meeting 2025 will take place on the 15th-17th August 2025. We will meet in the famous volcanic region called Eifel region in Western Germany. The program includes a coming-together and connecting geoscientists who consider themselves working or interested in the field of mineralogy in all states of their career. We want to emphasize people in their early career stage, such as bachelor, master and doctoral students to come and connect with other peers, but also people in their later career stage to meet the younger generation and have a meaningful exchange on careers in mineralogy.

Other activities include:

- a guided field trip to geologically interesting field sites in the Eifel region

- Brainstorming future activities in the YoungMins group and in the DMG focusing on the needs of young geoscientists and supporting career decisions

Accommodation and food are covered by the DMG. Travel expenses need to be covered by the participants, but students can be supported by applying for the DMG travel fund.
