Neues japanisches "Journal of Mineralogical and Petrological Sciences" (JMPS)

In the effort of widening their international role and the international cooperation, the Mineralogical Society of Japan and the Association of Mineralogists, Petrologists, and Economic Geologist of Japan have begun to publish a new bi-monthly journal, with the title "Journal of Mineralogical and Petrological Sciences" (JMPS), which is the successor journal to both "Mineralogical Journal" and "Journal of Mineralogy, Petrology and Economic Geology". The first issue of JMPS has been published in April 2000, as number 4 of volume 95, keeping the numeration of the older "Journal of Mineralogy, Petrology and Economic Geology".
